The NCRA/ANREC is thrilled to announce that we have hired Juanita Muwanga as the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator for the NCRA.

Juanita started in campus/community radio as a DJ for CJSR but since then has worked as the Live Events Coordinator for CJRU while completing her BA at Ryerson University. She has three years of work experience in the communication and marketing field as well as two years of experience working in non-profit organizations in a capacity building magnitude. She has been involved in a wide range of community youth projects as well as international sustainability-driven development projects.

Juanita will be focusing on developing ways to get more people to listen and interact with member stations.  She begins April 18th at the NCRA Offices in Ottawa, and will be joining everyone at NCRC36 this year in Abbotsford BC, June 7-11th.  You can reach her through email, juanita@ncra.ca or by calling the office here after the 18th.
