Collective Impact is not merely a new process that supports the same social sector solutions but an entirely different model of social progress. The poster of collective impact lies in the heightened vigilance that comes from multiple organizations looking for resources and innovations through the same lens, the rapid learning that comes from continuous feedback loops, and the immediacy of action that comes from unified and simultaneous response among all participants.
At Ontario Trillium Foundation they have announced a new grant that awards organizations that bring about fundamental change with collective action to solve complex problems in Ontario communities. The OTF Collective Impact model has three stages:
Stage 1: DEFINE the impact – up to $30, 000 for up to 18 months
Stage 2: ORGANIZE for impact – Up to $75, 000 per year for up to 2 years
Stage 3: DELIVER impact – up to 500,000 per year for up to 5 years
NO DEADLINE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis!
